ABOUT US
CJ Metal Creations, the brainchild
of Charlie and Jean Shiroma, was started in 1987. Charlie, a
metalworker by trade, honed the skills he learned as a body and
fender man and ventured into this creative endeavor purely as a
hobby at first. Working out of his windward O'ahu home,
eventually the Shiromas turned to local craft fairs to showcase
Charlie's works.
Today, CJ Metal Creations offers more than 250 items and participates in
nearly a dozen fairs each year, including the ever-growing Made in Hawaii Festival held
at the Neal Blaisdell Center. Popular not only among kama'aina,
Charlie's metal sculptures appeal to island visitors as
well -- with some items traveling to such places as India, Australia, Japan,
Canada and all across the U.S.
